CVSD offers everything from adventurous, hands-on, expeditionary learning to virtual learning and a parent partnership program

Learn about CVSD options designed to support parents who want educational flexibility through online learning, home-based instruction, or a combination of both.

  • Virtual includes individualized instruction, flexible schedules, and one-day-a-week in-person workshops.
  • Integrated programs including a blend of virtual and parent partnership options.
  • Parent Partnership includes a combination of home and at-school instruction, workshops, and support from certificated CVSD teachers.

Summit School K-8 is your school summit school tour

Summit uses hands-on, expeditionary, student-centered learning for grades K-8. The school fosters an environment where students and teachers are engaged in adventurous, challenging and meaningful work. Students dig deeper into content areas with fieldwork where they make real-world connections to their learning. Parent partnerships help make these adventure activities and experiences happen—bringing learning to life!
